  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 blend) Can substitute with ground turkey
  • 1 cup Diced Onions Scallions can be used for a milder taste
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup BBQ sauce can be used for a smoky flavor
  • 1 tbsp Mustard (Yellow or Dijon) Relish can be a sweet substitute
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used, adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
Cups
  • 1 package Refrigerated Biscuit Dough (8 count) Crescent roll dough can be an alternative
  • 1 can Cooking Spray Parchment liners can be used as well
Topping
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Mozzarella can be used for a different flavor
  • Optional Toppings (Pickles, Bacon, Sesame Seeds) Customize to your liking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with cooking spray or parchment paper.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes, then add diced onions and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; allow to cook for 1-2 minutes before removing from heat.
  4. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle and press into the muffin tin to form cups.
  5. Fill each biscuit cup with approximately 2 tablespoons of cooled beef mixture and top with cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted. Watch closely to prevent over-browning.
  7. Allow to cool for 3-4 minutes before serving.
