Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with cooking spray or parchment paper.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes, then add diced onions and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; allow to cook for 1-2 minutes before removing from heat.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle and press into the muffin tin to form cups.
- Fill each biscuit cup with approximately 2 tablespoons of cooled beef mixture and top with cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted. Watch closely to prevent over-browning.
- Allow to cool for 3-4 minutes before serving.
