For the Cheese Sauce
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded; freshly shredded cheese recommended
  • 1/2 cup Milk adds creaminess to the sauce
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream for a richer taste; can substitute with more milk

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish, pour half the cheese sauce over them. Repeat with the remaining potatoes and cheese sauce.
  4. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.

  6. Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving to allow sauce to thicken.
