Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a food processor, combine ripe avocados, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, basil, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add reserved pasta water to the avocado sauce, blending until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Return drained spaghetti to pot over low heat and pour the avocado sauce over it. Toss until evenly coated.
  5. Serve immediately, garnishing with olive oil, salt, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil.
