Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep the chicken by drying and seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Sear the chicken in a hot skillet with olive oil and butter for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add chicken broth to deglaze the skillet, simmering for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain and add to the skillet.
  8. Toss to coat pasta in sauce, adding reserved pasta water if necessary.
  9. Serve hot and garnish with parsley.
