Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper. Mix flour and half parmesan in a shallow dish, coat chicken, and set aside.
  2. Heat butter and oil in skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Keep warm.
  3. Lower heat, add garlic to skillet, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Whisk in remaining flour to garlic, cook for 1 minute. Gradually add stock, wine, and lemon juice, whisking to avoid lumps. Simmer for 3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Stir in remaining parmesan and heavy cream until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
