  • 1/2 cup Sugar For coating
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon Cardamom for extra flavor

  • 1 cup Chocolate Sauce Optional, consider caramel instead

Method
 

Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven and prepare the angel cake mix as per package instructions. Bake until golden and a toothpick comes out clean, about 30-35 minutes. Cool completely on a rack.
  2. Cut the cooled angel cake into bite-sized pieces and roll them into small balls.
  3. Mix equal parts of sugar and cinnamon in a bowl for your churro coating.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet until it reaches 350°F (175°C) to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Fry the angel cake balls for 3 to 4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Roll the warm bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture immediately after frying.
  7. Serve these treats warm with chocolate sauce for dipping.
