Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Clean a large cauliflower head under running water and dry it. Trim away the green leaves and slice into 1 to 1½ inch thick steaks.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper, and coat the cauliflower steaks.
  4. Place the seasoned cauliflower steaks in the air fryer basket and air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Prepare the Buffalo sauce by combining hot sauce, melted vegan butter, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup in a small saucepan over low heat.
  6. Brush the cauliflower steaks with the Buffalo sauce and return to the air fryer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with parsley or chives, and serve immediately.
  8. Enjoy with celery and carrot sticks or vegan ranch dressing.
