Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, beat two eggs until smooth. Place a generous amount of gluten-free flour in another bowl for the coating station.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten eggs and then into the gluten-free flour, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers, about 5 minutes.
  5. Fry coated chicken pieces in batches for about 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. In a separate saucepan, combine fresh orange juice, orange zest, gluten-free soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger over medium heat.
  7. Mix cornstarch with a splash of cold water to create a slurry, then gradually stir this into the sauce until thickened.
  8. Pour the sauce over the fried chicken and toss gently until coated.
