Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan thoroughly.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cardamom.
  3. Toss fresh blueberries with a tablespoon of flour mixture to prevent sinking.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, sour cream, whole milk, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the flour-coated blueberries into the batter.
  7. Transfer the batter into a piping bag and fill the donut pan about three-quarters full.
  8. Bake for 11-12 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow donuts to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Prepare glaze by whisking powdered sugar, blueberry jam, vanilla, and enough milk for consistency.
  11. Once cooled, dip the tops of the donuts in the glaze and let sit for about 30 minutes.
