Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut the stale French bread into cubes and scatter them in the baking dish. Sprinkle half of the blueberries over the bread.
  3. Whisk together eggs, whole milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl until smooth. Pour evenly over the bread and blueberries.
  4. Press down the bread cubes into the custard and top with remaining blueberries.
  5. Combine flour, brown sugar, and sliced almonds in a bowl. Cut in the butter until resembling coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
