Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting your sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces and seasoning generously with kosher salt and black pepper. Let the seasoned beef sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over high heat until shimmering. Carefully add the seasoned steak pieces in batches, searing for about 2-3 minutes until nicely browned.
  3. Transfer the browned steak to a slow cooker. Add sliced sweet onions and minced garlic evenly over the beef.
