Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, combine your rinsed rice with the chopped onion and half of the minced garlic. Add melted butter, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, then pour in the broth and lemon juice, mixing gently until well combined.
  3. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  4. While the rice is baking, season the shrimp in a mixing bowl with the remaining minced garlic, melted butter, and red pepper flakes if using, ensuring the shrimp is well coated.
  5. After 25 minutes, remove the foil, fluff the rice, and evenly spread the seasoned shrimp over it. Return to the oven uncovered for an additional 10 minutes or until the shrimp is cooked through.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving hot.
