Preparation Steps
- Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and combine with melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat softened cream cheese until creamy, then add sugar and vanilla. Mix until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each to keep the batter airy.
- Gently fold in sour cream and mini chocolate chip cookies until evenly distributed.
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Pour filling over crust and bake for approximately 60 minutes.
- Cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Release from the pan, top with whipped cream and Oreo crumbs, then serve.
