  • 1 cup Orzo Pasta Can swap for whole wheat or gluten-free
For Cooking
  • 4 cups Broth Beef or Vegetable broth
  • to taste Salt

For Serving
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Continue to stir and cook for 5-7 minutes until the meat is nicely browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in the tomato paste along with paprika and Italian seasoning, allowing them to coat the beef evenly. Cook this mixture for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in your broth and the rinsed orzo pasta, stirring to combine everything well. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet and allow it to simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Once the orzo is cooked to tender perfection, remove the skillet from heat. Stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
