Step-by-Step Instructions for One Pot Garlic Butter Pasta
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Allow the butter to melt completely.

- Add 4 minced garlic cloves to the skillet, stirring frequently for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

- Pour in 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth along with 1 cup of heavy cream. Stir gently to combine, allowing it to come to a gentle simmer.

- Add 12 ounces of spaghetti or fettuccine directly into the skillet. Increase the heat slightly to bring it back to a simmer, then cover the skillet.

- Once covered, cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid.

- Uncover and add another 2 tablespoons of butter and ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Stir well until the cheese melts completely.

- Sprinkle in salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste, along with optional red pepper flakes.

- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish generously with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
