Base
  • 4 cups cabbage shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs gluten-free optional
  • 1 large egg or 1 flax egg for vegan
Flavor
  • 1/4 cup cheese grated, optional
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • spices such as paprika and cumin

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Shred 4 cups of cabbage and squeeze out excess moisture using a kitchen towel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cabbage, breadcrumbs, egg, cheese, onion, garlic, and spices.
  4. Form patties from the mixture, about 1/3 cup each, and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush the patties with olive oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Let them cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
