Cooking Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Crumble in ground beef and cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Remove beef from the skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Sauté sliced red and green bell peppers along with sliced yellow onion for about 6-8 minutes until tender and charred.
  3. Return cooked ground beef to the skillet, add fajita seasoning, and stir to combine. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until flavors meld.
  4. Warm flour tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side or microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Assemble fajitas by spooning beef and vegetable mixture onto warm tortillas, adding cheese and cilantro, then wrapping them up.
