Cooking Steps
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Crumble in ground beef and cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove beef from the skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Sauté sliced red and green bell peppers along with sliced yellow onion for about 6-8 minutes until tender and charred.
- Return cooked ground beef to the skillet, add fajita seasoning, and stir to combine. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until flavors meld.
- Warm flour tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side or microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel for 20-30 seconds.
- Assemble fajitas by spooning beef and vegetable mixture onto warm tortillas, adding cheese and cilantro, then wrapping them up.
