  • ½ cup Italian Breadcrumbs Can substitute with crushed butter crackers
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 1 large Green Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 3 tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Butter Divided
  • ¼ cup Mozzarella Cheese Finely grated
  • 4 large Fresh Mushrooms Cleaned and stems removed

Method
 

Recipe Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Gently clean the mushrooms with a dry paper towel; remove the stems.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine clams, green onion, egg, garlic, breadcrumbs, oregano, parmesan, and 1 tablespoon melted butter; mix until thick.
  4. Stuff the filling into each mushroom cap, forming small mounds.
  5. Place the mushrooms in the baking dish, drizzle the remaining butter over the tops and cover with foil; bake for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, add mozzarella cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 3 minutes until melted.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
