- Gently clean the mushrooms with a dry paper towel; remove the stems.
- In a mixing bowl, combine clams, green onion, egg, garlic, breadcrumbs, oregano, parmesan, and 1 tablespoon melted butter; mix until thick.
- Stuff the filling into each mushroom cap, forming small mounds.
- Place the mushrooms in the baking dish, drizzle the remaining butter over the tops and cover with foil; bake for 20-30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, add mozzarella cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 3 minutes until melted.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
