  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper can be omitted or replaced with white pepper for less spice

  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese swap for mozzarella or dairy-free cheese for a twist
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream optional, Greek yogurt is a healthier substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped parsley for garnish, optional but enhances presentation

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly and cut them into halves or quarters.
  3. Slice the halal-certified smoked sausage into ¼-inch rounds.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes and add half of the seasoning mix, tossing until evenly coated.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the seasoned potato mixture in a single layer.
  7. Scatter the sausage slices over the potatoes and sprinkle the remaining seasoning mix on top.
  8. Roast in the oven for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5–7 minutes to melt.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot, optionally adding a dollop of sour cream.
