Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Place the seasoned chicken into the slow cooker.
  2. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1–2 minutes.
  3. Pour the sautéed garlic and fig jam over the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker. Gently stir to combine the ingredients.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Allow the chicken to cook for 4 to 6 hours.
  5. About 15 minutes before serving, gently crumble goat cheese over the top of the chicken.
  6. Ladle some of the fig jam sauce from the slow cooker over the chicken. Serve warm.
