  • 3 tablespoons Vinegar Rice vinegar recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Nutty aroma
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar Adjust to taste

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash cucumbers under cold water, scrubbing gently. Slice cucumbers thinly, about 1/8 inch thick, and place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine minced garlic, Korean chili powder, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar. Whisk until sugar dissolves.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cucumbers and toss gently to coat.
  4. Cover and let the salad marinate for about 10 to 30 minutes at room temperature.
  5. Give the salad a final toss and transfer to a serving dish, optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped green onions before serving.
