Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk with active dry yeast. Allow to sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, add flour, sugar, eggs, and butter. Pour in the frothy yeast mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for 1.5 to 2 hours until doubled.
  5. Punch down the dough, divide it into three parts, roll each into a rope, and braid them together.
  6. Insert dyed hard-boiled eggs into the braid at intervals for decoration.
  7. Cover the braided dough and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush the dough with an egg wash and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
