Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cook the sliced smoked bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and cook the eggs until the edges are golden, about 3–4 minutes.
  3. Toast the slices of whole grain bread until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Spread mayonnaise generously on one side of each toasted slice.
  5. On a slice of bread, layer lettuce, tomato, and crispy bacon.
  6. Place a second slice of bread on top, spread mashed avocado on it.
  7. Add cooked eggs on top of the avocado and a slice of cheddar cheese.
  8. Place the final slice of bread on top, press down gently.
  9. Secure with toothpicks and slice in halves or quarters for serving.
