Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add your cooked and cooled sweet potatoes and mash them until smooth, ensuring no lumps remain.
  3. Add cooked quinoa, rinsed black beans, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden-brown and firm to the touch, broiling for an additional 2-3 minutes if desired.
  6. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving, either on their own or with sauces or dishes.
